An excellent resource, complimented by the online site. The book is written in a straightforward, no-nonsense manner that appeals to student teachers across the board. The online resources are useful to assist and direct the students too

Bill Rogers has become one of the seminal names in behaviour and classroom management. The latest edition of this text remains as current and relevant as any of his previous works and is essential reading for all trainee teachers.

This is such an excellent and readable book. Bill Rogers really understands why some children are drawn to misbehave and how effective teachers can turn that around. The area is always one of concern, especially for student teachers and NQTs who have fewer tricks in their arsenal. However, having this book beside them as advance reading and as a bible to refer back to when faced with something new, they won't go far wrong. I will be highly recommending it for our student teachers.
