Lisa Riggs
Lisa Riggs joined Gresham-Barlow School District, outside Portland, Oregon, in 2018 as the assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Prior to moving to Oregon, Riggs was the associate superintendent of academics/chief academic officer for San Antonio Independent School District in Texas and the executive director of gifted and talented/advanced academics for Washoe County School District in Nevada. Before entering district level administration, Riggs held principalships at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and was a teacher, coach, and coordinator. Riggs received her bachelor of arts in English education from Washington State University, a master's of education in educational leadership from University of Victoria, British Columbia , and an additional master's degrees in Curriculum, and Instruction. She is currently working towards a doctorate from San Diego State University in Educational Leadership with a concentration in PK-12.
