Some good case studies which can be adopted for FE courses
A very practical guide for teachers and teaching assistants which helps form strategies for behaviour management that can then be used effectively across teams.
This book uses the narrative approach, sometime in parallel with how to and how not to approach certain situations. It gives pragmatics and uses 'real-life' situations to exemplify actions suggested. It is an excellent resource for teachers at all stages of their professional life but in particular for students and NQTs. It also has some very helpful suggestions for head teachers and those mentoring colleagues as to how they can support in a positive and beneficial way. I will be recommending this for a number of courses.
Fantastic a must for anyone struggling with classroom behaviour.
Relevant to psychologists and also teachers. Clear summaries of up to date evidence
This book is a good guide for educators to understand the students and colleagues behaviours especially in the education sector.
It also discussed the significance of effective teaching. Recommended for educators.
A useful book for trainees. I would recommend it for trainees preparing their behaviour management presentations
This text will be an essential text for my trainee teachers on the Diploma in Education and Training. It provides an extensive range of factors affecting behaviour in the classroom plus lots of tips and ideas in terms of finding solutions to key issues. The section on understanding our own behaviour, and the effects on our learners' behaviour is of particular interest.
An essential book for both practical guidance and supporting collaborative working
a great practical book, useful in both the classroom and for supporting university coursework
