Lakita Combs

Lakita Combs is the principal of Metzler Elementary in the Klein Independent School District in Texas, where students are encouraged to own their learning and embrace Visible Learning with commitment. Prior to this role, she has served as a first and second-grade teacher, a math and science instructional coach, a district coordinator for elementary math and science, and an assistant principal. Throughout her 25-year career in education, Lakita has been dedicated to creating environments where teachers and leaders evaluate their impact on learning and students are aware of their learning progress.
